Coverage depends on the solution, configuration, and device controls.

Example layout for explaining the service.

Inappropriate content & imagery

Restrict adult and other unwanted content categories. Where supported, add SafeSearch and content controls to reduce exposure to inappropriate imagery.

Malware, phishing & scams

Block access to known malicious destinations, including malware-hosting and phishing sites, using the selected solution’s threat categories.

Unwanted apps & distractions

Set rules for supported apps, gambling, social media, and other categories. Allow the tools people need and review exceptions when legitimate access is blocked.

Different users. The right boundaries.

Two starting points to help shape your project.

Home & family Wi-Fi

Choose age-appropriate content categories and exceptions for the devices using your home network. Discuss individual device controls where network filtering alone is not enough.

Business & guest Wi-Fi

Separate staff and guest policies where supported. Reduce access to known malicious sites and unapproved services while preserving the websites and apps your team relies on.

What affects the scope and cost?

The number of users and locations, existing network equipment, device-level controls, filtering licenses, and any ongoing policy management. Specific protections are agreed for the selected solution.

Know what your
project covers.

Your scope connects the problem to the work: what we will install or build, what you need to provide, and how the finished setup will be handed over.

Talk through your project

Scope to agree together

  • Home, staff, and guest users and their devices
  • Existing router, access points, and filtering compatibility
  • Content categories, app policies, and approved exceptions
  • Testing, administrator access, licensing, and ongoing policy reviews

Confirm the deliverables, account access, third-party costs, and any ongoing support in your project scope.

A few useful answers.

Does filtering block every image, app, or online threat?

No filter catches everything. DNS filtering blocks destinations rather than inspecting each image or every action inside an app. More detailed controls depend on the chosen product and device setup. Cellular data, VPNs, alternate DNS, and off-network use may need separate controls. We define and test the coverage with you.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

Tell us about your space or business, the setup you have today, and what you want to improve. Photos, a current website, or a short list of priorities can help us start.

What happens after installation or launch?

Agree on the handover, account access, documentation, and any ongoing support or maintenance arrangements as part of your project scope.

Start with what needs to work better.

A free consultation to discuss your priorities and the next step. No equipment list or finished brief needed.
